1. GENERAL
The company operating under the name “GM TRANSMED SINGLE-MEMBER IKE” and the trade name “GM TRANSMED” (hereinafter “the Company”), in the context of providing high-quality services to its customers—the consumers of its services—and with the primary objective of properly regulating its relationships with them, adheres to this CONSUMER OBLIGATIONS CHARTER (C.C.O.).
This C.C.O., effective as of March 17, 2025, in addition to providing consumers with basic and reliable information regarding the services offered by the Company to its customers, also sets forth the Company’s corresponding obligations toward them, so that every customer can at any time assess the quality of the services provided to them, the Company’s reliability, and, finally, claim the compensation provided for in cases where the Company is at fault.
The Company processes the personal data necessary to provide its services and takes the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the secure processing of such data in accordance with the existing regulatory framework on personal data protection, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the relevant case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union, Laws No. 4624/2019 and No. 3471/2006, as currently in force, and the acts (Decisions, Guidelines, Guidelines) of the European Data Protection Board and the Data Protection Authority (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Applicable Legislation”).
2. KEY FEATURES OF GM TRANSMED
The private limited liability company under the name “GM TRANSMED MON IKE,” trading as “TRANSMED,” was established in March 2022 and provides express delivery services for materials with special requirements (reagents, radiopharmaceuticals, etc.) within Greece. It holds a license to transport radioactive materials for this purpose. Since early 2024, GM TRANSMED has been registered in the Registry of Postal Enterprises of the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) under Registration Number: 24-003 for the provision of postal services under a GENERAL LICENSE, in accordance with the Regulation on General Licenses for the Provision of Postal Services. It is also registered with the General Commercial Registry (GEMI) under number 163314101000. Its Tax Identification Number (AFM) is 801787246, and its tax office is KEFODE Attica. It is currently undergoing the ISO 9001:2015 certification process.

To fulfill its statutory purpose, the Company may:
- Collaborate in any manner with similar domestic and foreign companies.
- Undertake and carry out any commercial or other activity, as well as any legal act or transaction, directly or indirectly related to its purpose.
- It enters into all types of contracts, partners with, or cooperates with domestic or foreign natural persons or legal entities governed by public or private law, whether for-profit or nonprofit, as well as with associations of persons, and with governmental or non-governmental bodies and organizations.
2.1. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
As a small and flexible company, GM TRANSMED MON. I.K.E. has the following structure.
- General Management, responsible for establishing and implementing the Company’s policies, managing the Company’s human resources and financial resources, as well as conducting quality control and improving the quality of its services
- Sales Department, responsible for planning, developing, and organizing production and sales, and
- The Logistics Department, responsible for the Company’s production process—a key competitive advantage, as it relies on specially trained staff with both broad and specialized experience.
2.2. LOGISTICS INFRASTRUCTURE:
The Company maintains its offices, as well as a warehouse, at 32 Kifissias Avenue in Marousi. It has its own fleet (13 passenger vehicles) and, as needed, leases additional vehicles.
Telematics systems have been installed in the vehicles by an ISO 9001:2015-certified company for:
- Software development for telematics and vehicle fleet management systems
- Configuration, installation, and maintenance of telematics and telemetry systems
- Provision of telematics & telemetry services.
We have been granted access via a web application to monitor the vehicles’ status through:
- Detailed, customized reports and alert zones,
- Notifications (SMS, push, email, etc.)
- when the driver is in danger by pressing the panic button,
- if the vehicle leaves the defined geographic boundary
- if the cargo door opens at a location other than authorized ones
- when a device stops working
- any temperature rise above permissible limits, even if the vehicle’s engine is turned off
- MOT Management
- Services
- Driving behavior (such as sudden deceleration/acceleration, sharp turns, etc.)
- Black Box function: in the event of an accident, it sends an alert and records 75 seconds of footage (50 seconds before and 25 seconds after the accident)
- Monitors fuel level in real time
- Ability to manage waypoints and geographic areas
- If necessary, monitors the temperature of cold chain transport compartments in real time.
With the Personal Data Protection feature, the driver can disable tracking outside of working hours with the push of a button, while information regarding mileage and fuel level changes continues to be recorded
This ensures compliance with legal requirements regarding the operation of vehicles, as well as the following:
- In the event of an emergency, local and state authorities must be notified immediately through the implementation of the emergency plan by the transportation manager and the company owner, depending on the incident and the condition of the vehicle and personnel (e.g., in the event of vehicle theft, the engine can be disabled).
- Security measures should be taken to detect and prevent unlawful acts aimed at disrupting, delaying, or otherwise interfering with transportation operations.
Through the mobile app provided by the supplier of the telemetry software installed in each car—specifically for vehicle maintenance—the telemetry system, as mentioned above, sends notifications about upcoming service appointments via email – SMS, and push notifications to the following recipients:
- the fleet manager, as well as to
- the driver
- another user (dispatcher, assistant dispatcher, Company Manager, or anyone else deemed necessary)
The operations office is responsible for scheduling vehicle maintenance, coordinating with specialized repair shops, as well as for all procedures related to certifying the roadworthiness of vehicles at whatever intervals required by law and based on the Company’s quarterly inspections.
This department also maintains backup records in case communication with the telemetry systems is not possible, to ensure that no maintenance is overlooked and to maintain a historical record of maintenance and repairs.
For the period during which the vehicle will be unavailable for service, the Company has secured replacement vehicles to ensure that transportation services continue without interruption.
3. SERVICES PROVIDED AND SERVICE QUALITY
- The company’s main activity is providing a wide range of express delivery services, with an emphasis on same-day and next-day delivery of goods and materials with special requirements, such as positron emission tomography (PET) radiopharmaceuticals (for the transport of which it holds a special license from the Greek Atomic Energy Commission, License No. A/435/11629/ 2022/23.08.22), as well as additional express or cold-chain services, based on the customer’s needs and upon agreement with the customer.
- We also offer same-day and next-day delivery services for documents and items throughout Greece and internationally (via a network of partner companies in the industry). Delivery to mainland or island destinations takes 1–5 business days, depending on the city of origin and the city of delivery.
4. TRACKING AND LOCATING MAIL ITEMS. SPECIAL SYSTEM FOR TRACKING & LOCATING MAIL ITEMS (E.S.P.E.T.A.):
GM TRANSMED, in accordance with the provisions of Law 4053/2012 and Decision No. 686/064/March 26, 2013, of the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) “Regulation on General Licenses for the Provision of Postal Services,” currently in effect, as well as Decision No. 687/328/April 5, 2013, of the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) “Code of Conduct for the Provision of Postal Services,” which is currently in effect, the Company provides its customers with the Special System for Tracking and Locating Postal Items (E.S.P.E.T.A.).
Through this process, customers can use the Company’s website www.transmed.gr/
Track Shipment and by simply entering the shipment number of the item (SY.DE.TA. number), to easily and reliably track the current stage of transit of their item at any time.
If the shipment is handled through its partner companies in the express delivery sector, then the SY.DE. TA. number of the relevant Partner and a link is provided to the Partner’s ESPETA system for final information on the shipment’s status.Furthermore, for transported materials or goods with special requirements, their location can be determined immediately by monitoring the vehicles carrying them via a telemetry and telephone communication system before and during delivery, in case new instructions need to be issued. In this way, the customer is immediately informed of the location and status of the item they have entrusted to us for transport.
Additionally, in conjunction with the ESPETA system for cold-chain shipments, these are transported in specially certified ISO 9001-compliant boxes and accompanied by two thermometers (inside and outside the packaging). The results recorded during transport are delivered electronically or in hard copy, upon the Customer’s request.
5. COURIER SHIPPING DOCUMENT (SY.DE.TA.)
GM TRANSMED issues a Courier Waybill (SY.DE.TA.) for the processing of the shipment (pickup, handling, sorting, transport, delivery). The SY.DE.TA. includes GM TRANSMED’s company details (company name, trade name, Tax ID Number, company address, contact phone number), the EETT registration number, the sender’s and recipient’s details, as well as a unique number for the mail item. The Individual Contract and the general terms and conditions for the transport of goods by GM TRANSMED MON IKE are available on the SY.DE.TA. website. The electronic version and printout of the SY.DE.TA. are available on our website so that the customer can review the Individual Contract—General Terms and Conditions for the Transport of Goods.
6. CHARGES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED
The Company’s price list is available to users—consumers—via the Company’s website at www.transmed.gr
The price list may be updated periodically based on current cost structures, market competition, and any special conditions that may apply at the time.

7. PROHIBITED MAIL ITEMS
GM TRANSMED MON IKE does not accept the shipment or handling of the following items:
- Flammable materials
- Explosive materials
- Radioactive materials (excluding materials specified in a special contract)
- Corrosive substances
- Compressed gases
- Narcotics
- Poisons
- Cash
- Foreign currency
- Gold bars
- Industrial diamonds and diamonds
- Postage stamps
- Antiques
- Perishable foodstuffs
- Animals (live or dead)
- Plants
- Material containing indecent, obscene, or pornographic content
- Items that, by their nature or packaging, pose a risk of damaging other items, the personnel handling them, or the Company’s equipment, as well as anything that the Company, following a thorough review and a reasoned decision, deems cannot be transported legally and safely.
To prevent the delivery of the above items for transport, the Company is entitled, but not obligated, to inspect the item it undertakes to transport, and even to open it; however, in the event of a refusal to allow inspection of its contents, the Company reserves the right to refuse to accept it. Furthermore, if the Company discovers the presence of such items, it has the right to handle them at its sole discretion, including the immediate suspension of the shipment, while disclaiming any further liability; in such cases, fees are non-refundable.The customer (shipper) is liable for any damage that may result from the delivery of such materials and substances for handling and shipment, based on a false declaration of their contents.
8. HANDLING OF UNDELIVERABLE ITEMS
If, for any reason, delivery of the item to the recipient is not possible, the item will be returned to the sender within two (2) weeks of the date of receipt, subject to a fee equal to the shipping charge. If, upon return, the item cannot be delivered to the sender for any reason, it will remain at the offices of GM TRANSMED MON IKE for six months. After six months have elapsed, the item is deemed permanently undeliverable, and a procedure for its destruction is initiated, following the completion of the relevant destruction report.
9. LIABILITY OF GM TRANSMED MON IKE – COMPENSATION
Our Company is committed to and makes every possible effort to deliver the items being transported within the agreed-upon timeframes. However, in cases where the services provided are deficient for reasons attributable to the Company and due to its own fault, a lump-sum compensation shall be paid in accordance with applicable law as follows:
Envelopes – Packages
a) In the event of proven
loss or
total theft or
total destruction of the contents
of the envelope , the compensation payable amounts to €50 per item, with a refund of the postage for that specific shipment
b) for proven
loss or
total theft or
total destruction of the contents
of the package, the compensation due amounts to €100, with a refund of the postage for that specific shipment.
c) In the case of proven
partial loss or
partial theft or
partial destruction of the contents
of an envelope or package , compensation equal to the actual value of the loss, theft, or destruction shall be paid, provided that this amount does not exceed the compensation amount for loss, total theft, or total destruction. The actual value is defined as the cost of replacing, repairing, or reproducing the contents.
d) In the event of
delayed delivery, which is demonstrably and exclusively attributable to the Company, compensation equal to €6 shall be paid for each day of delay and, if the delay exceeds five times the agreed delivery time, an additional refund of the postage paid for that specific shipment, provided that the total amount of compensation does not exceed the amounts specified above for cases of loss and in no event exceeds the amount of €100.
Insurance coverage for the shipment is the sender’s responsibility, particularly for shipments valued at over €150.
In any other case of loss or damage attributable to GM TRANSMED MON IKE, its liability is determined in accordance with the above, and under no circumstances may compensation exceed the limits set by the National Telecommunications and Post Commission. For coverage of larger amounts and for increased liability on the part of GM TRANSMED MON IKE, in excess of €150.00, a specific request from the sender is required for additional insurance coverage, at the sender’s own expense. Otherwise, the sender assumes and accepts sole responsibility for all risks of loss, destruction, or damage.
10. CASES WHERE GM TRANSMED MON IKE IS NOT LIABLE
GM TRANSMED MON IKE bears no liability and shall pay no compensation:
- For loss or damage caused by an error or omission on the part of the sender or the recipient.
- For loss or damage resulting from the nature or packaging of the item.
- For items that are prohibited from being shipped via GM TRANSMED MON IKE [e.g., flammable materials, etc.].
- For any direct or indirect, consequential, or special damages resulting from loss of income, profits, interest, sales, or use, breach of contract, etc.
- For loss or damage caused by delays or other disruptions during the shipment of items [e.g., due to accidents, adverse weather conditions, strikes, transportation delays, etc.].
- For payment of compensation when the claim is not submitted in writing within the prescribed time limits.
11. CASES WHERE THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT APPLY
The General Terms and Conditions do not apply in the following cases:
- Force majeure or unforeseen and extraordinary events beyond human control, including, but not limited to, accidents, strikes, and weather conditions.
- Criminal acts at the facilities or on the means of transport that result in the loss, damage, or destruction of express delivery items.
- Inability to locate the recipient at the address provided, which is attributable to the sender.
- Failure by the customer to fulfill their contractual obligations or any other obligation provided for in the General Terms and Conditions.
- Actions that violate the laws of the State.
- Failure to fulfill the Company’s obligation due to the customer’s fault or desire.
- A request proven to be groundless.
- Failure to fulfill the Company’s obligation due to actions or omissions by other entities with which the Company cooperates.
- Proven fault on the part of the customer or a third party.
- Proven inability on the part of the Company.
- Shipments whose contents are subject to a prohibition on distribution or possession by the sender and/or the recipient, in accordance with the provisions of international conventions or national and EU legislation, as well as shipments whose contents have been seized or destroyed by the competent authorities.
12. COMPLAINT HANDLING
12.1. Procedure for Reviewing User Complaints
The customer service department is responsible for providing information to customers and resolving any inquiries regarding a shipment, the status of a shipment, compensation, or the company’s hours of operation. It also accepts any complaints regarding customer service by phone at 2241900500 and via email at

To be addressed, a complaint submitted in writing must include, at a minimum, the complainant’s full name, phone number, mailing address (street and number, city, zip code) and, if available, the email address of the person filing the complaint.
The Company undertakes to make every effort to resolve the complaint within fifteen (15) business days of the submission of the relevant request to the Company, or within forty (40) business days if additional information is required.
For any dispute arising between a consumer-customer and the Company, the Company will make every effort to resolve it through negotiation and amicable settlement.
If this is not possible, the dispute will be referred to the Dispute Resolution Committee.
12.2. Dispute Resolution Committee
A dispute is defined as a proven breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Company.
The Company shall notify the user, by any appropriate means, including email, of the time and place of the Committee’s meetings, as well as of the user’s right to submit a written statement in the event that the user is unable to attend.

The Dispute Resolution Committee must review the consumer’s case within one month of the submission of the application, and is bound in its work by the provisions of this Code of Conduct.
The Committee consists of the Company’s Legal Representative, the Company’s Legal Counsel, and a representative from the local Consumers’ Association. The affected consumer has the right to appear and may be represented by an authorized representative.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through any of the aforementioned methods, it may be referred to the competent courts of Athens for resolution, and Greek law shall apply.
13. CUSTOMER SERVICE:
The Company’s goal is to ensure customer satisfaction through the timely and safe transport of their belongings, so that their choice of the Company is justified every time. In this context, GM TRANSMED MON IKE customers can be served daily, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. via email or by calling the phone number listed on our website during those same hours.

Requests or complaints may be submitted electronically at
info@transmed.gr or in writing by mail to the Company’s headquarters.
In general, the Company is required to respond to any customer service matter within 10 days of the date the consumer-customer’s relevant letter is submitted via any of the above methods. If, for any reason, the response cannot be definitive, the Company undertakes to inform the customer of the procedure it will follow to resolve the issue within the framework of these Terms and Conditions, as well as to provide a final response in accordance with the above once the relevant procedure has been completed.
14. INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AND COMMUNICATIONS PRIVACY
The Company complies with its obligations under applicable data protection laws.The Company takes the necessary technical and organizational measures in accordance with Applicable Law for the processing of personal data based on the principles set forth in Applicable Law and implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the data it processes in the course of providing its courier services.
The Company’s Privacy Policy is posted on its official website (www.transmed.gr).
In addition to its other regulatory obligations under Applicable Law, is required to process requests from data subjects within one month and, in exceptional cases, within three months, provided that it notifies the data subjects and justifies the two-month extension.

In addition, the Company has established and implements a Postal Services Privacy Policy (PSPP), compliance with which is monitored by the competent authority.
15. INDIVIDUAL CONTRACT – GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TRANSPORTATION/COURIER SERVICES OF GM TRANSMED MON IKE.
By handing over the shipment to Transmed MON IKE for transport and handling, the shipper expressly declares that they unconditionally accept the terms and conditions of the standard contract set forth below, and no agent, employee, or representative of Transmed MON IKE, nor the sender, has the right to waive or modify these terms.
« ARTICLE 1: Transmed MON IKE undertakes the prompt and secure handling and delivery of documents, small parcels, and other items, in accordance with the provisions of its price list as in effect at any given time. The customer (sender) guarantees that he/she is the owner of the items handed over for shipment and handling, or the representative of the owner of said items, and acknowledges that this form was completed by him/her or by Transmed MON IKE on his/her behalf.
ARTICLE 2: The customer (sender) guarantees that: A. The items are properly packaged. If their contents are damaged during handling because the packaging was inadequate, this precludes any claim for compensation. B. The details and full addresses of the sender and recipient have been correctly provided for the item being shipped.
ARTICLE 3: Gold, silver, precious stones, and precious metals in general cannot be shipped as ordinary items. For the shipment of these items, Transmed MON IKE offers special insurance in accordance with the terms and conditions of Article 9 below.
ARTICLE 4: Transmed MON IKE does not undertake the shipment or handling of the following documents and items: Flammable, explosive, or corrosive substances; compressed gases; narcotics; poisons; cash; foreign currency; gold bars; industrial diamonds; postage stamps – antiquities – perishable food items – animals – plants – material of an indecent, obscene, or pornographic nature – items that, by their nature or packaging, pose a risk of damaging other items, the staff handling them or their equipment, as well as anything the company determines cannot be transported legally and safely. The customer (shipper) is liable for any damage that may result from the delivery for handling and shipment of such materials and substances with a false declaration of their contents.
ARTICLE 5: Transmed MON IKE has the right, but not the obligation, to inspect the item it receives for shipment and handling, as well as the right to open it. If it determines that the items delivered for shipment contain any of the prohibited materials or substances listed in Article 4, Transmed MON IKE shall refuse to accept and transport them.
ARTICLE 6: If, for any reason, delivery of the item to the recipient is not possible, the item will be returned to the sender within two (2) weeks of the date of receipt, subject to a fee equal to the shipping fee. If, upon return, the item cannot be delivered to the sender for any reason, it will remain at the offices of Transmed MON IKE for six months. After six months have elapsed, the item is deemed permanently undeliverable, and a destruction procedure is initiated following the preparation of a destruction report.
ARTICLE 7: Transmed MON IKE has the right to withhold or refuse delivery of any item it transports in order to secure payment of any expenses arising from said transport [freight charges, customs duties, bills of lading, etc. ], until such expenses are paid in full.
ARTICLE 8: Transmed MON IKE undertakes to process shipments by charging its fee to the recipient. In the event that the recipient fails to pay the aforementioned fee for any reason, the sender assumes the obligation to pay Transmed MON IKE.
ARTICLE 9: The sender is responsible for insuring the shipment, particularly when the shipment’s value exceeds €150. In any other case of loss or damage attributable to Transmed MON IKE, its liability is determined in accordance with the limits set by the National Telecommunications and Post Commission. For coverage of larger amounts and for increased liability on the part of Transmed MON IKE, beyond the specified amount (excluding coverage for the cases mentioned in Article 11 below), a specific request from the shipper is required for additional insurance coverage, at the shipper’s own expense. Otherwise, the shipper assumes and accepts sole liability for all risks of loss, destruction, or damage. All international shipments are governed by the limitations of the Warsaw Convention and its amendments, as currently in force.
ARTICLE 10: A claim for compensation for an item that has been lost or damaged, or whose contents, in whole or in part, have been lost or damaged, must be submitted in writing to Transmed MON IKE, within six months of the date the item was handed over for shipment. In the event of a claim for compensation due to delayed delivery of the shipment, attributable exclusively to Transmed MON IKE, the company shall provide, as compensation, a refund of the total fee it received for that delivery.
ARTICLE 11: Transmed MON IKE bears no liability and shall pay no compensation: For loss or damage caused by an error or omission on the part of the sender or the recipient. For loss or damage resulting from the nature or packaging of the item. For items whose shipment via Transmed MON IKE is prohibited [e.g., flammable materials, etc.]. For any direct or indirect, consequential, or special damages resulting from loss of income, profits, interest, sales, or use, breach of contract, etc. For loss or damage caused by delays or other disruptions during the shipment of the items [e.g., due to an accident, adverse weather conditions, strikes, transportation delays, etc.]. For payment of compensation when the claim is not submitted in writing within the prescribed time limits.
ARTICLE 12: Any matter not provided for in the terms of this agreement shall be governed by the provisions in effect at the time for this specific contract. The courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction to resolve any dispute.

16. DECLARATION OF COMPLIANCE
The Company makes every effort to comply with the applicable provisions of the relevant regulatory framework governing the provision of postal services, as well as any other provisions relating to the provision of its services.
